Government regulations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico require protective lighting to ensure broken glass from lamps can not come into contact with food, food equipment or food packaging.

To adhere to these regulations & to protect product, equipment, employees and customers from liability, USE ONLY Shat-R-Shield plastic-coated, shatter-resistant lamps. Facility inspectors look for the familiar Shat-R-Shield orange bands to
ensure safety compliance.

Shat-R-Shield lamps are UL-EPH (environmental and public health) classified, NSF certified and meet FDA, OSHA, CFIA (Canada Food Inspection Agency) and Mexican Dept. of Agriculture regulations. Luna Glow® sleeves and shatter-resistant glass globes are not classified by UL-EPH.
